Honor America Celebration

The Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to host the 76th Annual “Honor America Celebration” fireworks display at Pekin Memorial Stadium. This beloved community event will be held at nightfall July 4th, with a rain date of the following evening. Detailed information can be found below. We can’t wait to see you there! Time:
Event begins at 6:00 pm. Fireworks show at dusk.
details:
Due to construction, the Pekin Memorial Stadium is closed to spectators. There will be a viewing party hosted in the Arena parking lot beginning at 6 PM. Stadium Drive and Arena parking lot will be closed to vehicle traffic on July 4th.
seating:
Space for seating in the Arena parking lot will be available to the public free of charge on a first come first serve basis. VIP ticket holders will have a reserved seating area. Lawn chairs are welcome. Coolers will not be permitted in the Arena parking lot.
handicapped parking:
Handicapped parking will be available on Red Bud Drive – enter at intersection of Red Bud Drive & Dragon Drive, heading south towards Court Street. This parking area will open at 6:00 pm.
general parking:
Parking will be available at Coal Miners Park, Pekin Insurance, and the event parking lot on the corner of Stadium Drive and Broadway. Please be a good citizen and remember to clean up before you leave. We will have trash cans available in the provided parking lots.
FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY:
There will be food trucks, a performance by the Pekin Civic Chorus and 50/50 raffle tickets available. We hope to see you all there for this year’s 4th of July Celebration!
